We've officially all started back to work and daycare. Here are a few pictures from the past several days. The first few pictures are of Drake smiling happily before daycare. The last three are of Drake returning home from daycare, grouchy and into everything (my mascara for the 2nd time!) It's obvious the terrible two's are approaching. Drake's favorite pastime is throwing himself down on the floor.

Tortilla Soup, YUM!

Drake is enjoying his 3rd bowl of tortilla soup. It was a little spicy. He had sweat beading up on his nose and snot running down his face. Needless to say he REALLY enjoyed it!

The boys enjoyed the old rocket at the Clear Springs Restaurant this weekend. They act like it's the greatest thing & it's ancient!

This is how I found Drake during his nap over the weekend. I guess he's reading in his sleep. : )

We recently got new neighbors and invited them over for dinner. They have a little girl that is close to Drake's age. Here Drake is with his new friend Jenna.

Here are a few pictures of Ruben and Drake enjoying the dinosaur exhibit at the Witte Museum. They also enjoyed the Treehouse. It was nice to see Ruben and Eunice (a.k.a. "Nuney" - Drake's former babysitter).

I took Drake and Jacob (or "Baycub" as Drake calls him) to the zoo a couple of weeks ago. After visiting the zoo we took a train ride because Jacob said he'd never been. It was fun, but very HOT! Jacob then spent the night with us and played Legos and watched Super Mario Brother's most of the day on Saturday.

We were painting this afternoon and every time Drake got paint on himself he screamed so I decided to paint on him. I started making streaks in red and then got the bright idea to paint Elmo on his tummy.

Drake was stuck in between the bed posts after being told not to climb on our bed. Guess that's what happens when you disobey.

This one is for you Ashley! I swear he was not out of my sight for even a minute and I found him in the bathroom with my mascara.

Yesterday we put together Drake's toddler bed. He stayed in it all night last night and looks pretty cozy tonight!
