Drake woke up Wednesday morning sneezing and by the time I picked him up from daycare that afternoon he had a runny nose. He was running a very low grade fever that night, but I just thought he had a head cold. When I got to daycare on Thursday there was a posting that one of the kids had mild bronchitis so I decided that we should take him to the doctor to be certain. Thank goodness we did because he tested positive for RSV. Unfortunately, there's not much that can be done since its a virus so he was put on a nebulizer and we're managing his fever with Tylenol. So far so good, but the doctor said he'd probably get worse before better and he hasn't been real bad yet so I'm bracing myself. Here are a few pictures of him receiving his treatment. Poor baby =(

Well, we made it through our first Christmas with Drake. He was oh so very excited. Not really...he had no idea what was going on. We started out celebrating Christmas with the Coronado side of the family. He got to meet a lot of people he had not yet met on both sides of the family. We ended Christmas festivities about a week later with the Mays side of the family. As you can see in the pictures, by Christmas morning Drake had enough. Daddy and Mama stuffed his stockings with bottles and pacifiers. We also got him a cross for his wall and a keepsake about his birthdate. The child definitely did not need anything! He is a very loved and spoiled little boy. We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and will have a safe and happy New Year!
P.S. Some of the pictures posted were requested while others are just to show everyone how big he's getting.

Update on Working Life
I returned back to work this week on Wednesday. The first day was definitely the hardest! I cried when I had to leave Drake behind at daycare, but he didn't seem to mind. The next two days were much easier. He's attending an in-home daycare with five other children. His caregiver's name is Mrs. Lin (short for Linda). He adjusted really well! I guess when you're his age you're pretty content as long as someone feeds you, changes you, and makes you comfortable to sleep. Mrs. Lin tells me everyday when I pick him up what a "good baby" he is. I really like her and she is very good with Drake.
Tomorrow, Sunday, Drake will be two months! It is so hard to believe he is already that old. Monday he goes for his two month check-up and shots. I will be sure and update my blog with his length and weight after the appointment.

Length and Weight Update
Today Drake went to the doctor for a length and weight update. As most of you know he was 6 lbs. 8 oz. at birth and 19 inches long. He is now 7 1/2 lbs. and 19 1/2 inches long. He is getting big too fast!
